FAB Alliance, in partnership with BAMcinematek, is pleased to announce its lineup of outdoor movies for 2016 in Clinton Hill’s Putnam Triangle Plaza. Starting at 8pm on five consecutive Thursdays in JUNE this series of movies is an homage to some of the most popular African-American film actresses of the ’70s.

The line-up includes MAHOGANY with Diana Ross (6/2), CLEOPATRA JONES  with Tamara Dobson (6/9), CLAUDINE with Diahann Carroll (6/16) and FRIDAY FOSTER with Pam Grier and Eartha Kitt (6/23). (Film details and full event schedule)

PLUS, on Thursday, June 30, there will be a special event:  SHINING STAR:  A tribute to Maurice White of “Earth, Wind & Fire“, featuring two amazing vintage concert films from the heyday of his band.

Screenings start at 8pm. Admission is free. Bring a chair, blanket or simply plan to sit on the “lawn” at Putnam Triangle.

Special thanks to FAB Flicks supporters, including:  BAMcinématek, NYC Small Business Services, Council Member Laurie A. Cumbo, and Douglas Elliman Real Estate.

PS:  There are so many great places to Eat & Drink near Putnam Triangle, either before and/or after the films (or do take-out and bring dinner with you!).
