Education | Running Water for PS 241 Science Lab | $350,000 | Create a water line for the PS 241 science lab. Install one non-reactive sink, faucet and taps. Update floor material if required as well | 976 President Street |
Education | Auditorium renovation for PS67 and Community Roots Charter School (co-located schools) | $493,000 | Installing seating, lighting and sound system. Upgrade will also include restoring circuits and replacing broken lights. New audio equipment, speaker and AV system. Pull-down projection system and screen. | 51 St. Edwards Street |
Education | Technology/PromethiumActivPanels for PS 532 New Bridges Elementary School | $65,000 | Install 10 Promethium ActivPanels for classrooms to help improve learning for students and faculty. | 1025 Eastern Parkway |
Education | Science room and technology upgrade for PS 705 | $350,000 | Science classroom upgrade will include built-in teacher’s station also technology upgrade with mobile STEM labs and a 3D Printer. | 443 St. Marks Avenue |
Education | Auditorium Upgrades PS 9 | $350,000 | Replace stage lighting, replace sound system, install projector, restore approximately 10 auditorium seats, repaint auditorium, refurbish stage floor, upgrade electrical to the extent necessary for the other requested improvements. | 80 Underhill Avenue |
Transit | Safe Route to PS 221 | 300,000 | Safe route brings improved crosswalks, new traffic medians and other traffic-calming measures such as speed bumps, new traffic signals, and improved signs to reduce pedestrian accidents in school zones. | Empire, Troy and Montgomery intersections. |
Transit | Bus Pads on Fulton St. | 300,000 | Bus pads replace the surface where buses stop and replace the pavement that gets warped with a solid concrete pad. The warped streets cause danger for bikes, the old and the young who walk there. | Fulton St. near to Clermont Avenue |
Housing | Ingersoll Houses Garden Improvements | $500,000 | A watering system will make tending the garden easier; benches and lighting will help people enjoy this community hub. | Ingersoll Housing Development |
