Free Batteries – Change Your Clocks, Change Your Batteries

The FDNY reminds all New Yorkers to change the batteries in their smoke and carbon monoxide alarms when they change their clocks for the start of Daylight Saving Time on Sun., March 8.

The Fire Safety Education Unit will be distributing alarm batteries and fire safety information in different languages throughout the five boroughs. Brooklyn locations include:
