Thanks to the Center for NYC Neighborhoods Homeowner Hotline, assistance for homeowners facing foreclosure is just a phone call away. A coordinated effort by the Center and the Attorney General’s Homeowner Protection Program (HOPP), the hotline is available to all New York State residents.
Homeowners can reach the Center by dialing 311 in New York City and asking for the Center for NYC Neighborhoods or by dialing 855-HOME-456. The Homeowner Hotline’s operators will connect homeowners with a housing counselor or legal services provider near them that provides high-quality services at not cost.
At the next Resident Business Development orientation, you can get connected to:
- Free legal services
- Fee-free business checking accounts
