Poster 2-22 24_2018.jpg
This Thursday at the Steinberg Wellness Center (161 Ashland Place) is the biggest game of the LIU Men’s basketball season; at 7pm the Blackbirds face arch-rival St. Francis Brooklyn. At stake: a trip to the Northeast Conference playoffs. This is a do-or-die game, and we need ALL our fans to come out and support the Blackbirds!

We have our final men’s game of the regular season on Saturday, February 24th—2pm against Sacred Heart.

Please feel free to join us for any of these games; just bring a copy of the attached flyer to the Will Call table in the lobby of the Steinberg Wellness Center.

Also on Saturday, The Children’s Academy has the second of three open houses for our summer camp. Please join us from 11am – 1pm on the LIU Brooklyn campus to meet summer camp staff and take a tour of our facilities.

Faculty will be on hand to discuss our six-week summer day camp offerings that include architecture, capoeira, cartooning, chess, Chinese, circus arts, hip-hop, karate, moviemaking, origami, product design, Spanish, theater arts, swimming and yoga as well as week-long Blackbird Sports Camps in baseball, basketball, flag football fitness, soccer and swimming.
