We are recruiting for both of our signature corps: the Love Where You Live Corps, which trains Corps Members for jobs related to sustainable buildings and communities; and the Urban Farm Corps which trains Corps Members for jobs related to sustainable agriculture. All Corps Members are enrolled in AmeriCorps, and have access as Corps Members and graduates to our full suite of wrap-around services, including career counseling and professional development, and on-site social workers.
To be eligible, applicants must
- Be 18-24 years old
- Live in a NYCHA development
- Have a high school diploma or GED
In addition to referring applicants to us, partners can share the flyer with their listservs, post the flyers in their offices and centers, and help spread the word on social media. If the council member has any upcoming community meetings, that would also be an amazing opportunity to spread the word. We encourage all of the above!
