535 Carlton Fence Reconfiguration

Beginning Wednesday, July 27th

As part of the Pacific Park Brooklyn project the construction fence located on Carlton Avenue between Dean & Pacific Street will be modified.

The height of the 16′ high fence will be lowered to 8′. Contractors will lower the fence in 20′ segments and expect the work to be completed by August 5th.

Vanderbilt Avenue Fence Modification

Community Notice

550 Vanderbilt Fence Reconfiguration

Beginning the week of Monday, July 11th

As part of the Pacific Park Brooklyn project the construction fence located on Vanderbilt Avenue between Dean & Pacific Street will be modified and reduced.

A temporary fence will be assembled along Vanderbilt Avenue allowing the process of dismantling the 16′ high fence to take place.  We anticipate removing the 16′ high fence and structure during the week of July 11th.

A new protected pedestrian path will be established on the West side of Vanderbilt Avenue between Pacific and Dean Streets. The bicycle lane will be restriped. Installation of a new sidewalk bridge, reinstatement of  traffic signals, pedestrian walkway, crosswalks and bicycle lane are scheduled during the following week of July 18th.

Final road striping will occur after fence modification is complete and is expected to be completed by July 25th.

DEP Work Tonight at Pacific Park

COMMUNITY NOTICE

As part of Pacific Park Brooklyn development  the Department of Environment Protection (DEP) is scheduling to  perform  tests on  existing main water valves  located around the intersection of Vanderbilt and Pacific, and Dean and Carlton  beginning at midnight tonight.

These test are being conducted to facilitate upcoming public water work.  Water service interruption is expected to only affect construction area  but may temporarily affect other areas if existing valves do not perform as expected.  Any interruptions will be restored by morning.
