Women’s History Month: Honoring our Sheroes

This month is #WomensHistoryMonth; and it is about more than just celebrating women, but correcting the imbalanced structure of our government and leadership positions –and fighting for economic equality for all women.

Women are the roots of society. They hold our communities down and build up our economy. In honor of #WomensHistoryMonth, each day we will highlight a Shero who has made #HERstory!

Also, each day we will share an inspiring fact about my legislation#PayEquity1536 which is a Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to reporting of pay and employment equity data.
